Not changing the clocks Posted by Daniel H on March 20, 2023, 8:08 am I am noticing that I am enjoying not changing the clocks this year, especially in the morning. Things seem more symmetrical, more natural when not adjusting my circadian rhythm, or something like that. Just sayin Anybody else notice it (or not)? This message is locked.

La Manzanilla is pretty close to that e.g. manyana does not mean tomorrow, it means not today. And the flexibility of times e.g. 9 am could mean 10:30 am and extends to if they show up that day they are on time Just depends on how much you interact with the outside world. If your friends FWTC (f##k with the clock) then you might miss their call or you or they may show up early or late. If you don't FWTC you may miss a TV show (e.g.) you wanted to see. Gaining an hour in the spring is usually fairly benign, changing the clocks is experienced the most when we loose and hour in the fall. Either way I don't think it is healthy and only partly beneficial at more northern latitudes. In California I used to get intense episodes of spring fever. not so much here, but that could be part of what I am experiencing. Also I am a segmented sleeper, 4 hours after going to bed I am up for an hour or so then back to bed. I usually rise at dawn. While I don't fully understand it I seem to resonate with the below. Affected individuals are extreme 'morning larks' with 4-hour advanced sleep and other rhythms.
