Valentin…. Posted by Stephanie bookstore…sorry on March 28, 2023, 7:57 pm Well it seems he is getting better with the help of oxygen and can come back to LM if his oxygen levels maintain! His house has no electricity so a pole needs to be put in place that will cost about 5,000 pesos…..to keep him on oxygen. the bookstore will put in 2,000 and will have a jar out tomorrow, Wednesday for those of you who wish to donate! Will continue to keep posting as new news comes in! Gracias!

I'm also facilitating meditation at Casa Luz on Sunday at 12pm and the $$ goes to the dog rescue. I met with Valentin a couple of times during my stay here (I'm here for two more weeks) and we talked about me fostering (to adopt) a dog from the rescue. I've already met the dog and Valentin felt good about the possibility of that happening. I got an ok from my building owner and then was never able to get a hold of him because of his health circumstance. I'm now on a tight time limit and if it doesn't happen in the next couple of days, I just won't be able to adopt the dog. Do you think it's ok if I just go take the dog and leave a note? Thanks

If anyone is thinking of adopting a dog, I've met a couple of other dogs there that are just so sweet, playful and healthy. It is the hardest thing going there and just taking one. Wishing him a full recovery.
