The Careyes Foundation currently seeking English teaching interns for elementary school children in communities throughout the Costalegre, Jalisco.
Through our Children's English Program, we offer English classes to 12 public primary schools along the Jalisco Coast, reaching approximately 1,000 children each school year. We use a series of books called "Beyond Borders," which we have specifically developed to teach English in the area, incorporating natural learning methodologies, multiple intelligence practices, and mindfulness.
In addition to teaching English, you will have the opportunity to participate in other activities organized by the foundation, such as bike rides, visits to the turtle camp, trips to the cinema, and more.
Requirements:
Fluency in English. Experience or interest in teaching, particularly with children. Availability for the entire school year (August 2023 - July 2024). Passion for making a positive impact in rural communities.
