Its center is located approximately 430 kilometers southwest of Punta San Telmo, Michoacán, and 450 kilometers south-southwest of Manzanillo, Colima. It has maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour ( km / h ), gusts of 95 km / h and displacement to the west, at 24 km / h.

Beatriz forecasted to reach H1 as it rides very close along Cabo Corrientes NOAA “ Tropical Depression 02E 202302E 2023 The depression is forecast to strengthen quickly and could become a hurricane by Friday evening, bringing a risk of strong winds to portions of the southwestern coast of Mexico during the next couple of days. A Hurricane Watch is now in effect for the coasts of Michoacan, Colima, and Jalisco, and hurricane conditions are possible in those areas late Friday through Saturday.”
