Amigos!
I waited until after 1 a.m. to post this message, so there should not be any confusion about "tonight" meaning Monday, July 17, 2023.
MUSIC MONDAYS Enjoy Rick and Paul on Monday evening with the sunset. Feel free to show up at 5:30 p.m. The music will start shortly thereafter and the sun sets a bit earlier every night from now through December.
HAMBURGERS TONIGHT This is our first special since March, and our only scheduled use of the grill this month, so enjoy the burgers with sunset and music. The regular menu will also be available.
GOOD LUCK, CARMEN Mateo's daughter Carmen leaves La Manzanilla on Tuesday as she will start her university studies at LSU in Baton Rouge. Wish her well tonight--Monday, July 17--on her final evening in La Manzanilla until December.
PESOS OR BITCOIN? Your ever-mighty pesos are always welcome because apparently no one had the mine the electrical grid to produce MXN. If you wish to pay for your margaritas with a single bitcoin, that's acceptable if you don't expect any change.
WE ARE OPEN! THERE IS ACCESS Please let your friends know despite the lack of any kind of a bridge, it is possible to reach Crocodile Bar and Cabanas without getting your feet wet. We're on the beach. If you can reach the beach, you can reach us.
CROCODILE BAR HOURS Monday-Saturday, 12 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Our coffee friends present "Bar Calcetin" on Sundays at the same location. The cafe opens daily at 8 a.m.
Mateo 3328179527, Mexican cell and WhatsApp Or shout "Geaux Tigers" at the top of your lungs in a Cajun accent and he should be able to hear you as he prepares yet another trip to his beloved Louisiana--though it's way hotter there compared to the cool spot with shade and breeze at the Crocodile Bar, which will remain open during his trip.
