Posted by Daniel H on September 30, 2023, 7:06 am Happen to click on the NOAA 7 day forecast, nothing serious but thought I would post cause I'm bored https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/gtwo.php?basin=epac&fdays=7 Checked Ventusky for next Thursday https://www.ventusky.com/?p=20.3;-114.6;3&l=gust&t=20231005/1200&w=0xIAb9A9A Hurricane season ends November 30, so far all have been off the coast with the exception of the first one, hurricane Beatriz in late June. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_Pacific_hurricane_season https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_Beatriz_(2023)

Posted by john p on October 1, 2023, 7:15 am, in reply to "storm off the coast next week?" You may be correct Daniel. Looks like it is becoming more organized and the shear is more to the east instead of the west (like the first part of the season). Good eye, one to watch. https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/sat/satlooper.php?region=epac&product=ir
