This is not the new one brewing down South right now, that one does some kind of weird loop de loo then goes onshore down South on Tuesday evening. This storm is Lidia doing a 180 and coming back, 139 mph at the core, bam, straight on shore down South a bit. Lucky for us these predictions are not very accurate 6 days out.

You can go through the week by rapidly clicking the far right arrow multiple times or just click play.

Or click play for the Lidia finale.

As usual, not only do predictions made a week out tend to change significantly, the different weather algorithms don't always agree with one another. On Thursday, 10-12-23 ICON has LM being hit with Hurricane Lidia and ECMWF agrees. GFS shows nothing for the same day.

We'll see, but it could get exciting!

Yes, Monday would be a more reasonable time to check the prediction.

Considering how the GPT thing is unfolding. One day, probably sooner than we all think they are going to get really good at this prediction thing.
