I will try to do an auto update link below. My gal Alison is also versed in the celestial activity. Maybe sometime I'll get it.

I started off calculating from 360 degrees, the circumference of the moon. When I turned to ChatGPT to check my work I was asking it about degrees of change, when my question should have been about percent of illumination. The moon goes from 0 to 100% illuminated in apox 14 days (Waxing) then from 100% to 0% the next 14 days (Waning) My favorite moon is the thumbnail moon (Luna delicada) which is 8 % illuminated. Knowing the % illuminated the previous evening we would ask each other what % the moon would be that evening. Usually we were way wrong.

These pics show the Sun through clouds that are green due to the welders glass in front of the camera. The moon is moving from upper right to lower left.

I like the science stuff, especially when I can apply it. Thanks.
