Although is this usually an arborist activity, a few of my new San Marzano seedlings are volunteering for a bosom buddy experiment.

About Sept. 30 it was suggested that it was near time to plant solanacea plants as most of the hurricane season was past.
30 days after soaking seeds for germination, three varieties of tomatoes found to be productive here, Anahu, San Marzano, and SunGold all have fowers and hopefully will soon set fruit.
Yesterday's high winds which are dehydrating and stressful to plants were countered with a bit of socialism (please no politics).
Yes, it is true that San Marzano's huddled together for combined strength against the savage winds of ayer.
The pleaching experiment continues and hopefully, it will be fruitful, pun intended. And of most importance is that there will be a fresh batch of seeds in the seed bank for next year. Big optimism.
Plant on!
