I read some time ago that school supplies are needed in La Manz. I am wondering what in particular...nothing too big to fit in my carry on, but I would like to contribute.

Everything helps... thank you for thinking in the school...here is a quick list:
stapplers scotch tape plain manila folders (teachers) geometric kits (compass, rulers, etc) any kind of teaching material to hang on the bare classroom walls (world maps, abc's, shapes, etc...) sheets of different colered construction paper rounded tip scissors colored pencils errasers pencils regular white paper colored foam paper White board markers (erasable for the teachers)
They also need, in case anybody is wondering what else to donate: water dispensers electric pencil sharpeners copy machine to service the whole school/printers water despenseros garbage bins + garbage bags general cleaning supplies (mops, brooms, buckets, rubber gloves, toilet brushes, cleaning rags, clorox, pinesoil, toilet papper, hand soap, rakes, shovel, wheelbarrow, etc.)
*also consider small children as young as 6 years old have to sweeap, mop and empty garbage in each classroom everyday. So biodegradable products is welcomed as well as smaller supplies.
Gracias.

Another idea is to buy them in town. There is a stationary store there with many of the supplies listed. You’re supporting a local business and getting things for a more reasonable price at the same time.
