In later February we're needing a bus or taxi from PV to Perula, then a few days later from Perula to La Manz.

The bus driver needs to be told when you board the bus, to let you off. but you have to pay attention to whether he was paying attention. I have had the driver overshoot the dropoff point until I raised my voice and then he stopped. Getting picked up in both locations is a matter of standing out where you are very visible and waving your arm(s). Also, be prepared for the bus may not be on time. Imagine that!

We're also thinking about renting a car in PV with drop off in Manzanillo, but that seems overkill in many ways.

I've never taken it to Perula, but that should be easy. If going north from La Manzanilla, simply call the Melaque station to check on timing. If headed south from the PV bus station, it should be easy.
