Amigos!
Thanks for your continued support this season in person and online. Thanks to you, Mateo’s nightmare of a 2-star Google Maps rating has been washed away with a tasty margarita and a plethora of 5-star ratings from many friends who didn’t need to type a 38-digit code to express their views.
WELCOME BACK, CARMEN Some of you met Carmen in 2013 on her first visits to La Manzanilla as her father introduced her to the local bar scene. Don’t worry, though born and raised in South Louisiana, Carmen did not have permission to drink margaritas when she was 9. Yet 10 years later, raise your glass to Carmen later this week as she has completed her first semester of college at LSU.
FREE ENTERPRISE, 101 You don’t need a college course to know this, but please, not only at Crocodile Bar and Cabanas, but at any restaurant or bar in La Manzanilla, should you 1) buy at least one product being sold; 2) not arrive with products from another business; 3) leave a tip. Most of you know this and many of you are extremely generous, but when a host or waiter first greets you at any establishment, please understand “I’m good” = “I wish to purchase something in exchange for enjoying a seat in your establishment and I will leave a tip when paying for my purchase.” If you disagree with these basic tenets, please post your explanation below.
