Friday is almost here… on December 15th, a table with produce will be set up across from the south east corner of El Jardín near Café del Mar to sell mostly produce from the School Garden Project. We expect to have more of the local sweet potatoes 🍠 (camote) and some even made into pastries. There possibly will be more lemongrass for soups.

A special thank you to Lupe of Guadalupe's Bikes, who for the last couple of weeks has donated some very beautiful produce she has grown. Thank you for the lovely lacinato kale 🥬 If you have starfruit ⭐️ or other excess produce (🍌 🍋?) in your yard, it could be a wonderful donation to the project if we can sell it in the next few weeks while waiting for School Garden produce to mature.
LA CATALINA FOUNDATION Volunteers have been coming to help on Thursdays. Thanks to their efforts the garden has been cleared of many weeds and the sweet potatoes/camote we are selling at the market were harvested by the students.
