Fishing Poles and Fishing Excursions Posted by Tracy H on December 17, 2023, 8:08 pm Hello Beautiful Community Does anyone have fishing rods they would be willing to loan guests of ours who are responsible and respectful people. They have their own reels. Also any updated information anyone can share on fishing excursions available or boat and fisherman for hire. Our guests will be here February 17 to 25th. Gracias Tracy

Re: Fishing Poles and Fishing Excursions Posted by Spencer on December 18, 2023, 11:47 am, in reply to "Fishing Poles and Fishing Excursions " Depending on what you’re looking for, Ever will take you for a day of fishing, snorkeling and sightseeing, Gerardo will take you on an eco tour more inclined to the biodiversity of the area, he’s a wealth of information, but I don’t think he’s offering fishing(?). Ever is located on the north end of the beach, near IMIX. Gerardo is in the center of town near the whale tail, look for the Eco Tour signs. If you want more serious fishing, further off shore, Team Tex-Mex out of Barra de Navidad has a brand new 31’ boat with all the gear that will get you out there fast. You can find them on instagram @teamtexmex (owned by a local resident of La Manzanilla).

We caught 13 fish in 2 hours, and he asked. . . are you done yet? He took the fish to a restaurant for them to make ceviche for lunch, and then he invited us back for dinner for grilled fish. It was magnificent. He did give the remaining fish away, which was fine with us. Do a trip with him!
