The Southwest State Finals will be the final opportunity for teams to qualify for the prestigious Lone Star “Battle For The Rings” which will be held next month at Big League Dreams in Mansfield.

The top 2 teams in each division at the NTX State Finals will receive Automatic Berths to BFTR. If the 1st and/or 2nd place teams already have a Berth, it would pass down to the next highest finishing team that does not have one.

USSSA State-Level II Points and Double Lone Star Points will be awarded for the NTX State Finals. The Double Points combined with possible Bonus Points could vault several teams into position for an At-Large Berth to “Battle For The Rings” in case they don’t win an Automatic Berth.

Even if your team has no intention of qualifying for “Battle For The Rings” the Southwest State Finals will be a fun tournament to play in as there are almost 60 teams signed up. San Antonio is a great city to visit and teams from Austin, Central Texas, Hill Country, Corpus Christi, Rio Grande Valley, Abilene, San Angelo, Houston and across the state are all welcome to attend. Enjoy the Riverwalk, Fiesta Texas, Sea World and great dining and shopping establishments.

Divisions offered are Men’s C, Men’s D, Men’s E, Women and Mixed. (NOTE: Women’s will be played on Saturday and Mixed will be played on Sunday to avoid any possible conflicts for their players.)

>> First Place teams in each division will get a set of Lone Star Full Sub Dye Jerseys from Premier Athletics.

The deadline to enter is Tuesday, June 28, at 5:00 p.m. or whenever the maximum number of teams is reached. The brackets will be released later that night.
