HOW TO ADD PLAYERS TO YOUR ROSTER
The system does not distinguish what fields are required for a player to be sent the “Confirmation Code”. The required fields look to be:
1) First and Last Name (as listed in the system)
2) Birthdate (as listed in the system)
3) Email address (not a duplicate but proprietary)
4) Mobile Phone Number (cell not home phone number)
5) Texting Address (same as mobile phone number)
New players to the system will still need State Director approval. A copy of the player’s driver’s license along with their phone number and email address are required to be sent to the State Director. The State Director will do a search then add the player.
After each player receives the Confirmation Code, they will then need to go to USSSA.com, click “Slowpitch” and on the Team Home page in Blue, enter the Code and Phone Number (same Mobile/Cell Number) as the coach provided. Each player must key in the exact information and follow instructions precisely. They will be added to the roster if the information matches what the coach keyed in. Also, there is a time limit of @ 24-48 hours for the player to respond. If they do not respond during this time frame, they will be timed out and the coach will need to resend and another Confirmation Code will be sent.
I can’t emphasize how important the roster information needs to be correct and match what the coach and each player keys in for the player to be added.
