In the Men’s Class “E” and Mixed “E” Programs, any batter who hits an untouched
fair fly ball over the fence in fair territory will be declared out and it will
be an inning ending out. Each subsequent time that position in the lineup is due to
bat, the batter shall automatically be declared out. The player shall remain in the
game for defensive purposes only. This applies to any substitute in that batting position.
If the player appears in the batter’s box after hitting a home run, he shall be
ejected from the game and the team must continue short-handed.
Note: In the Men’s E Program, the offensive player ejected for hitting a home run
is not allowed to be a courtesy runner or coach any base as he is an offensive ejection.
Any offending player caught running bases is out and ejected from the game.
If coaching bases, offending player is also ejected from the game.
