The 2019 San Antonio softball season is about to get underway this weekend with the Grand Slam of San Antonio kicking off next weekend.

All teams who play in at least 3 of the 4 Legs of the Grand Slam will receive a FREE ENTY FEE to the 100+ team Bud Light Memorial Day Shootout in San Antonio. So don’t miss this opportunity,

Leg I: January 26-27
Leg II: February 9-10
Leg III: February 23-24
Leg IV: March 16-17

San Antonio is a great city to visit and teams from Austin, Central Texas, Hill Country, Corpus Christi, Rio Grande Valley, Abilene, San Angelo, Houston and across the state are all welcome to attend. Enjoy the Riverwalk, Fiesta Texas, Sea World and great dining and shopping establishments.

Divisions being offered are Mens C, Mens D, Mens E, Women and Mixed. (Womens will be played on Saturday and Mixed will be played on Sunday to avoid any possible conflicts for their players.)

>> The tournament has been designated as a "Ring Qualifiers" meaning the First Place in team in each division will win an Automatic Berth to Lone Star Shootout Battle For The Rings later this summer in South Texas.

Lone Star Shootout Points will be awarded to ALL teams, which can help land an At-Large Berth to the Battle For The Rings later this summer.

>> First Place teams in each division will get a set of Lone Star Full Sub Dye Jerseys from Premier Athletics.

Individual T-Shirts will be awarded to members of the Top 4 teams in each division. While members of the First Place teams get the Full Subs, members of the Second Place teams will receive Individual Lone Star Softball Caps. There will be a Most Valuable Player award and a Gold Glove award. All-Tournament Awards will also be presented.

The deadline to enter is Tuesday, January 22, at 5:00 p.m. or whenever the maximum number of teams is reached. The brackets will be released later that night.
