I don't think combining the bracket sucks. What I think sucks is when they allow these teams who sign up as a D team to then show up day of the tournament and then say oh no were playing as a "C" team today because they picked up bumps once they realized the bracket was C. It should be told ahead of time that it'll be combined. And if you register as a D team then you should have to play as such. Brackets are usually made where the C teams play each other. and these teams allowed to just change day of bracket get a advantage....and one more thing. guys who play tournament ball shouldn't be allowed to umpire in the same division they play for..
