The Lone Star Shootout SOUTHWEST STATE FINALS will be held this coming weekend, July 4-5, at Time Warner Park in San Antonio.
This is a great opportunity for teams looking to lock up a berth to the “Battle For The Rings” … or for teams just looking to play in a fabulous tournament on a holiday weekend in one of the most popular tourist cities in Texas. Out-of-town teams are invited to come enjoy the Sea World, Fiesta Six Flags, The Riverwalk, Fireworks, great food, shopping and other attractions.
Divisions offered at the Southwest State Finals are Men’s C, Men’s D, Men’s E, Women and Co-ed. (NOTE: Women’s will be played on Saturday and Co-ed on Sunday, to avoid any conflicts between players playing in both those divisions.)
The Top 2 Teams in each division will receive an Automatic Berth to the Lone Star Shootout “Battle For The Rings” and DOUBLE Lone Star Shootout Points will be awarded to ALL teams, which can help land an At-Large Berth to the “Battle For The Rings.”
USSSA State Level II Points will also be awarded to all teams.
First place teams will receive a set of game-ready, customized Full Sub Dye jerseys from Premier Athletics.
Individual Shirts will be awarded to the Top 4 teams in each division. Members of the First Place teams will receive the Jerseys, while members of the Second Place teams will receive Individual Lone Star Caps. The MVP will receive a 2015 USSSA Bat and the Gold Glove Winner will receive a new Worth Glove love. All-Tournament Awards will also be presented.

Entry fee is $275 per team and the deadline to enter is Tuesday, June 30 at 5:00 p.m. or whenever the maximum number of teams is reached.
To enter a team, simply go to the front page of www.LoneStarSoftball.com and click "Online Registration" then fill out the information and Submit.
