The Lone Star Shootout “Battle For The Rings” this weekend at Big League Dreams in Mansfield is to determine the True Softball State Champions of ALL Texas.
Many teams have played their entire season looking forward to this weekend and we are committed to making the competition Fair for All.
Coaches … Make sure your online roster is updated completely by Thursday, July 23, at 5:00 p.m. That is when the rosters will be printed out. It is also your responsibility to be sure that any players you add are eligible and do not put you over the limit on allowable bumps for your division.
>>> ALL Players participating in the “Battle For The Rings” will be required to Check-In, Show an ID, Sign their team’s roster and get a Wristband before playing. The Wristbands must be worn for the duration of the tournament.
We strongly recommend arriving at the park at least 1 hour before your first game to have enough time to complete this process before your game begins.
*** Another excellent option to sign-in on Friday night during the All-Star games. Last weekend, MANY players used this opportunity to get their check-in out of the way so they would not be bogged down on Saturday when they are trying to get ready to play.
The Check-In booth will be located in front of the Soccer Building in the middle of the complex.
We do not have the ability to do this detailed of a process at every tournament throughout this year. But this is the most important tournament of the year and we want to make it as fair as possible. We apologize in advance for any minor inconvenience this process may cause, but feel certain that rule-abiding teams will appreciate our efforts.
