SPIKE'S SHOOTOUT >>> HOW PARTICIPANTS CAN HELP Archived Message

Posted by Lone Star Softball on August 26, 2015, 3:57 pm

The purpose of SPIKE'S SHOOTOUT this weekend at Big League Dreams in League City is to raise awareness and hopefully provide some relief for the large population of abused and neglected dogs in the Greater Houston area.

Please pass the word to each of your teammates and ask them to bring ...

    - Bag of dog food
    - Old crate/kennel
    - Puppy pads
    - Leashes/collars
    - Vet-quality flea meds (like Frontline, Advantage, K9 Advantix, etc.)
    - Puppy formula
    - British-style slip leashes
    - Laundry supplies
    - Gift cards, cash donations

Not only will every donation be very much appreciated, but will also earn you a ticket into a Raffle Drawing. Among items being given away in the Raffle are:
-2015 Jeff Hall Legit Worth bat
-Free team entry fee to Fall Budweiser Festival
Hopefully, other items will be added before Saturday.

Abused/neglected animal advocate and fellow softball player Mark Cridland will have a trailer parked inside the park with a sign where you can place the donations.

Anything will help and no donation is too small.

Items/monies donated will benefit several local animal rescue organizations around the Houston and surrounding areas.

There will also be a booth setup with volunteers and foster dogs from The Forgotten Dogs of the 5th Project if anyone would like to foster or adopt one of these as a pet.

    >>> THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR GENEROSITY <<<
