Check out the “Surf” on the beaches of Corpus Christi Island between your games on the newest “Turf” softball fields in Texas at the SURF ‘N TURF SHOOTOUT being held next weekend (Sept. 26-27) at STX Champion Park in Corpus Christi.
Teams from Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Victoria, Laredo and the Rio Grande Valley are all invited to take a trip to the Gulf Coast beach community.

Divisions being offered are Men’s D, Men’s E, Women and Co-ed.
The Surf ‘N Turf Shootout is a Lone Star Shootout sponsored event and USSSA State Qualifier Level Points will also be awarded to all teams.
The First Place team will receive a Paid Berth to the Lone Star Fall State Tournament.
Individual Prizes will be awarded to the Top 4 finishers in each division, including custom full sub-dye jerseys for the First Place teams. Members of the Second Place teams will receive Lone Star Caps. The MVP will receive a 2015 USSSA bat and the Gold Glove will receive a new glove. All-Tournament Awards will also be presented.
Entry fee is just $250 and the deadline to enter is Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 5:00 p.m. Brackets will be posted later that night.
