    OKTOBERFEST SHOOTOUT // OCTOBER 10-11 // BIG LEAGUE DREAMS - MANSFIELD, TX Archived Message

    There are still 2 days left to register for the OKTOBERFEST SHOOTOUT that is being held this coming weekend, October 10-11, at Big League Dreams in Mansfield, Texas.

    -ALL GAMES will be played on the Turf fields at Big League Dreams.

    -THREE-GAME-GUARANTEE to assure your team lots of fast-paced action, with no long breaks between games. In fact, it is very possible this one could be a 1-Day tournament for all divisions.

    -RESTAURANT SPECIALS all weekend in celebration of OKTOBERFEST.


    Divisions offered are Men’s C, Men’s D, Men’s E, Men’s 40+ and Mixed.


    First Place teams will receive a set of game-ready, customized Full Sub Dye jerseys!

    Individual Prizes will also be awarded to the Top 4 finishers in each division. Members of the Second Place teams will receive Lone Star Caps. The MVP will receive a 2015 USSSA Bat and the Gold Glove will receive a new glove. All-Tournament Awards will also be presented.


    Big League Dreams in Mansfield was voted the 2014 National Complex of the Year by USSSA.

    Weather cancellations have been a problem in North Texas this year. But with the Artificial Turf playing surfaces, weather-related issues are minimized or even eliminated at Big League Dreams, with 8 fantastic fields that are replicas of Major League Ballparks such as Wrigley Field, Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park and of course Rangers Ballpark, among others. And the two climate-controlled restaurants allow teams to relax in comfort between their softball games and watch College Football on TV while enjoying a variety of refreshments and concessions.

    The deadline to enter is tomorrow (Tuesday, October 6) at 5 p.m. or whenever the maximum number of teams is reached.
