2016 SOUTH TEXAS USSSA RECLASSIFICATION LIST
The following teams have been reclassified effective January 1, 2016.
Many of the reclassifications were mandatory bumps from the new National Classification Committee. The rest of the list was compiled after careful consultation with multiple USSSA Directors from throughout South Texas.
Inclusion on either list was based on each team’s performance in 2015, therefore should be considered an acknowledgement of achievement rather than as a punishment. Other teams will be added to the list as need warrants in the future.

RETRO RULE: Remain in full effect. Players on teams who were bumped from Men’s D to Men’s C in the past 3 years but whose teams have disbanded will remain classified as C players, regardless of where they may have played since. There are two purposes for this rule: (1) to prevent teams who have already dominated at the D level from breaking up and spreading out with hopes of reclassifying and then getting back together as a D team; and (2) to prevent these players from ever playing on E teams. Players from these teams are allowed to play on D teams, but only as one of the 3 allowable C bumps. So, no more than 3 can be on any one D team, and none can play on E teams.
