Appearances by USSSA Hall of Famer Jeff Hall of Worth Sports and Major Open player Jeremy "Izzy" Isenhower of Miken Sports will highlight the Winter World Home Run Derby being held at Big League Dreams on Friday, January 15.
Also on hand will be Worth National Promotions Manager Mike Cornell.
Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. on Polo Grounds. Open Hitting will be held from 7-10 p.m. then the top 8 hitters will go into a head-to-head bracket for a Hit Off.
Once the bracket is down to 2 hitters remaining, one of them will pair with Hallsy and the other with Izzy for a team battle to see who wins the 2016 USSSA Worth or Miken Bat of your choice.
Entry fee is $25 an includes a commemorative shirt.
Bats and balls will be provided by Worth & Miken. You supply your own pitcher, or you can use one of the volunteers who will be out there.
