    South Texas: You asked for it and now you’ve got it – two of the top Major Open players in America are coming your way next weekend for the CONNY MACK SHOOTOUT being held February 20-21 at Big League Dreams in League City.

    2015 Triple Crown winner Greg Connell and his Major World Champion Resmondo teammate Bubba Mack are coming to town. Both players have multiple bats named after them with Worth Sports.

    ALL GAMES of the tournament will be played on the Turf fields at Big League Dreams for this tournament, with no auxiliary parks being used (like at Winter Worlds). This tournament is very likely to sell out, so if you want to be a part of it get in today.

    Divisions offered at the Conny Mack Shootout are Men’s Open, Men’s C, Men’s D, Men’s E, Women’s and Mixed.

    (NOTE: Men’s Open will be an N.I.T. so teams will longer games, more HR’s and Double USSSA Points.)

    The tournament has also been designated as one of the new "Ring Qualifiers" meaning the First Place in team in each division will win an Automatic Berth to Lone Star Shootout "Battle For The Rings" later this summer.

    Lone Star Shootout Points will be awarded to ALL teams, which can help land an At-Large Berth to the “Battle For The Rings” later this summer.

    First Place teams in each division will get a set of game-ready Lone Star Full Sub Dye Jerseys from Premier Athletics.

    Individual T-Shirts will also be awarded to members of the Top 4 teams in each division. While members of the First Place teams get the Jerseys, members of the Second Place teams will receive Individual Lone Star Softball Caps. The MVP will receive a 2016 Bat and the Gold Glove Winner will receive a new glove. All-Tournament Awards will also be presented.

    Entry fee is $250 and the deadline to enter is Tuesday, February 16, at 5:00 p.m. or whenever the maximum number of teams is reached.
