CONNY MACK SHOOTOUT HOME RUN DERBY
Friday, February 12 Big League Dreams League City, Texas
Registration begins at 6:45 p.m. on Yankee Field.
We have the field all night, so players can show up early for “BP.”
Open Hitting from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Buy-backs are allowed but have to go to the end of the line.
Top 8 qualifiers go qualify for the bracketed Head-to-Head “Hit-Off” bracket. Once that 8-man bracket is down to just 2 hitters, one of them will partner with Greg Connell and the other will partner with Bubba Mack for the Championship Hit-Off.
1)Supply your own pitcher (volunteers will be available if you don’t have one). 2)Hitters must swing one of the new Worth Bats that will be provided. 3)Each hitter gets 5 swings per round, and can let 2 bad pitches go by.
Entry fee is $20 and includes a Free “Conny Mack HR Derby” T-shirt.
First Place will receive any 2016 model of Worth bat that they want.

The Home Run Derby will include a Team Competition that will run concurrently with the individual contest. (It is not a separate event.)
Derby “Teams” consist of 4 players from the same softball team. No “hired guns” are allowed to come in help your team win. Teams must be entered for this weekend and hitters must be on that team’s online roster.
The combined score of the 4 hitters on each team will add up to be that team’s total score. Only the first score for each hitter will count towards the Team Total … “buy-back” scores will not count toward the Team Total.
Winner of the Team Competition will receive a Paid Entry Fee for the tournament on Saturday!
