S.A. FIESTA SHOOTOUT April 27-28 (next weekend) Kennedy Park San Antonio
Fiesta San Antonio started in 1891 as a way to honor the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. It has evolved into one of the nation's premier festivals and is a celebration of San Antonio's rich and diverse culture. This year Fiesta runs from April 18-28 so come enjoy the festivities between or after your games. Divisions being offered at the Fiesta Shootout are Mens C, Mens D, Mens E, Women and Mixed. (Women’s will be played on Saturday and Mixed will be played on Sunday to avoid any possible conflicts for their players.)
The tournament has been designated as a Ring Qualifiers meaning the First Place in team in each division will win an Automatic Berth to Lone Star Shootout Battle For The Rings later this summer.
Earn valuable Team Points for both Lone Star & USSSA.
NEW >>> An added Bonus for teams playing in the Fiesta Shootout is they will get to pick their own Start Time (within reason) for the 34th Budweiser Festival in Bryan-College Station.
This will also be the last tournament before the next edition of the Lone Star Offical State Rankings comes out and the Fiesta Shootout will count heavily toward that.
First Place teams in each division will get a set of Lone Star Full Sub Dye Jerseys from Premier Athletics. Individual T-Shirts will be awarded to members of the Top 4 teams in each division. While members of the First Place teams get the Full Subs, members of the Second Place teams will receive Individual Lone Star Softball Caps. The MVP will receive a 2019 Lone Star XXL Bat and the Gold Glove Winner will receive a new glove. All-Tournament Awards will also be presented.
The deadline to enter is next Tuesday, April 23, at 5:00 p.m. or whenever the maximum number of teams is reached. The brackets will be released later that night.
