This is fake news. Teams dont move up because they want to sandbag and play D. If they really cared about winning events that matter such as Worlds, BOTH or any other big event they wouldn't mind playing in the B bracket all year. Gets them the games against good teams that builds up their game to make a strong run at C worlds or BOTR. Teams that play up usually do better than the teams that hide from harder events.
