THINK PINK SHOOTOUT Breast Cancer Awareness Benefit October 5-6 (Next weekend) Big League Dreams Mansfield, Texas
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month we are hosting the Think Pink benefit tournament at Big League Dreams in Mansfield. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research in the name of Texas softball players.
The tournament will be a THREE-GAME-GUARANTEE at no extra cost to the teams. Lots of fast-paced action with no long breaks between games.
Also enjoy the 2 climate-controlled restaurants where you can watch college football on multiple televisions between your games.
ALL games will also be played on the 8 Turf Fields at Big League Dreams. No auxiliary complexes will be used. So out-of-state teams who may have come to Winter Worlds and not got to play at BLD here is an opportunity to be guaranteed all your games will be played on the Turf Fields.
Divisions offered are Mens B, Mens C, Mens D, Mens E, Women and Mixed. We especially hope the Women teams turn out for this tournament and would like to get enough to have two separate brackets.
First Place teams in each division will get a team set of Lone Star Full Sub Dye Jerseys from Premier Athletics.
Individual T-Shirts will also be awarded to members of the Top 4 teams in each division. While members of the First Place teams get the Jerseys, members of the Second Place teams will receive Individual Lone Star Softball Caps. The Most Valuable Player will receive a 2019 Lone Star XL Reload bat and the Top Defensive Player winner will receive a new DPS Shootout Bat Bag. All-Tournament Awards will also be presented.
Entry fee is only $275 this tournament. The deadline to enter is next Tuesday, October 1, at 5:00 p.m. or whenever the maximum number of teams is reached.
