SOUTH TEXAS HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE December 7-8 (This coming weekend) Big League Dreams League City, Texas
Help needy children in the Houston area have a Merry Christmas this year by playing in the Lone Star South Texas Holiday Toy Drive being held December 7-8 at Big League Dreams in League City, Texas.
All teams who bring 10 small, unwrapped toys (about 1 per player) will receive $100 off their entry fee. These toys will be distributed to local children who otherwise might not get gifts this year.
THREE-GAME GUARANTEE
All games will be played on the fabulous Turf Fields at Big League Dreams. No games will be played at auxiliary complexes with dirt infields. Because of keeping all games at BLD and the tournament being a 3GG, the maximum number of teams that can be accepted is 60 and we are currently half-way to that number.
Divisions offered are Mens B, Mens C, Mens D, Mens E, Women and Mixed.
This will be the last Lone Star Fall Tournament for teams to accrue points for seeding at Winter Worlds next month.
Also, all games on all fields will be available to watch or record on Big League T.V. with PlaySight Live Streaming and Video On Demand. More details are available.
First Place teams in each division will get a Paid Berth to any 2020 Lone Star Shootout Qualifier. They will also get a set of Lone Star Full Sub Dyes from Premier Athletics.
Individual T-Shirts will also be awarded to members of the Top 4 teams in each division. While members of the First Place teams get the Jerseys, members of the Second Place teams will receive Individual Lone Star Softball Caps. The MVP will receive a 2019 USSSA Lone Star Bat and the Gold Glove Winner will receive a Double Play Bat Bag. All-Tournament Awards will also be presented.
Entry fee is only $285 but teams who bring toys will get $100 off of that. The deadline to enter is Tuesday, December 3, at 5:00 p.m. or whenever the maximum number of teams is reached.
