Current issues facing Ukraine, both due to the war and extreme weather. High temperatures can indeed cause critical equipment to overheat and increase demand for electricity, which puts strain on an already fragile energy infrastructure.

Obviously, high temperatures can cause equipment to fail and increase electricity consumption, which puts more strain on the energy system.
