Welcome to the Mayberry Courthouse. I would now like to begin our tour.
Here is our gun rack where we keep all our offensive guns.
And this is the backroom where deep pondering and contemplation takes place. Note the back door that is utilized for garbage can emptying.
Here is our bulletin board where we post pictures of desperate criminals and the Diner's and Morelli's menu. We employ a management style known in the industry as "O.N." Official Notification. No changes are made to the board until official notification from the County comes in the afternoon mail. A seemingly small but never the less important process.
Here is our Cell Block and is where we got our nickname, The Rock. It is here where we house are most heinous criminals where they are not just held in detention, but are rehabilitated to return back to society as productive and contributing members.
Over here is our gas fired space heater. It provides heat for the Courthouse and Cell Block. You will note the leather recliner next to the heater. It is used when we are on a #3 Amber Alert.
And here is where the nerve center is. The Courthouse desk. It is here where folks come to file complaints, receive sentences, pay fines, or just hang out.
Well thanks for coming and touring. There is so much more that goes on here day in and day out that I am not at liberty to discuss due to the sensitive nature of our operation. And in all honesty, it is probably more than the general public can handle. Sometimes the duties can become gruesome and hard. It is one of the reasons we lawmen at times seem rather hard and callous.
We have ice cream and little yellow cookies here for you, supplied by Morelli's, to enjoy. Please feel free to look around and ask any questions. But be mindful that we may not be able to go into details on some things of a sensitive nature.
