Oneida Lake Smallmouth

Hey Folks, We are seeing the tail end of the spawn on Oneida right now. We had some great success on smallmouths fishing areas of mixed rock and sand in about 3-6ft. of water. Most fish were caught on a Green Pumpkin TubeJig. If the bottom was too mossy, you wouldn't get bit. The topwater bite is getting started now too. We had a bit of action on Pop-r's near the spawning flats, probably post-spawn fish. If you get around grass, expect your share of pickerel too! Thanks and good fishing! -Craig
