Fished Conesus Lake on Saturday and we caught in the neighborhood of 50 bass. Some came on a chug bug and spinnerbait early. As it got lighter the fish moved into the weeds and a Zoom salty centipede was working. If conditions were right you could get a few on a wacky rig. Watermelonseed seemed to be the best color choice.
Back on to Conesus on Monday the 26th and picked up my guys from the Buffalo NY area. Weather conditions were just the opposite from Saturday, but the fish still bit. They managed to boat 15 with some good quality fish mixed into the bunch. As usual, all bass were released. Thanks guys. They will be there when you take the kids out fishing.
Be safe, maintain a proper lookout when boating, and wear your life vest.
