Laurie,
The majority of eels that I come across are relatively small less than 12 inches. This particular eel that I did not measure was about 20+ inches. Alot of eels release from the host before hitting the net or fall through the gaps in the netting but my new net has fine netting so I am able to remove more of them from the lake.
