Freeport & Oceanside Charter BoatsAlthough sea conditions were not as “Favorable as we would have liked”, fishing was “OFF THE HOOK”!!! Bottom fishing for the last two weeks has been awesome to say the least. We suspect this is because sea conditions kept smaller charter boats and recreational vessels at the dock, and a new biomass has moved in. Now is the time to book your next ocean bottom trip! Ocean fluke have been a regular occurrence, even on the anchor. Bay fishing has been a challenge, although seabass have begun to move into the State Boat Channel. If you know where to go, you will do well.
