This will be a big weekend at Napa Speedway with both the dirt track and asphalt running on Friday and the NASCAR race on Saturday.

The asphalt track will have the usual Bandos and Legends running their program along with heat races of all the other divisions. I will post a recap late Friday night.

Saturday will be a very full day. There will be 2 NASCAR practices from 1- 1:45PM and then from 2:15 - 3:00PM. Main events of the local program will follow the practices. NASCAR qualifying will begin at 6:00PM and the race will begin at 8:00PM.

The NASCAR race will be 150 laps and last years race took 1 hr and 5 minutes with only a couple of spins so we should be done at a very reasonable time. Drivers to watch will be Derek Thorn, Greg Pursley, and Michael Self who each have 3 wins this year. Derek Thorn won last year's race here at Napa. The fastest qualifying time was 19.943.
