Valencia County Speedway is a vacant lot; there is nothing on the site. As race fans/owners/drivers we have two options: support an idea or don't. If we choose not to support an idea because of a rule in a rule book that does not exist then we are only hurting ourselves. Rules can always be changed but racetracks are not popping up everywhere. Any race track that opens is a good thing for all of us. I fully support a race track opening in Valencia County and urge everyone to as well. Please tell friends and family to sign the petition. We must get the county to approve the raceway, so it is not just an idea anymore. Then we can argue and fight over sanctioning, schedule, rules, promoters, and calls, but if we continue to argue over “what if” now, Valencia County Speedway will remain a vacant dirt lot. The first public hearing is at the Valencia County Courthouse on October 23, at 4pm. If you can possibly make it please do, we need as many people as possible to show support for a new racing venue.
