The only rule change for 2014 will be the addition of the restrictor plate for all altered Rochester carbs.
Basically,
Since the current rules state that no alterations are allowed to the stock Holley 4412, the restrictor plate will be required on all altered Rochester carbs.
Since the restrictor dimensions are identical to those of a stock 4412, it in essence equalizes the playing field between the Holley and the better flowing/more expensive opened up Rochester.
According to Royal, the plates are now available@Ricks performance in Las Cruces.

...I think this an absolutely great idea in order to maintain the integrity of the class.
The first plate was run in competition ladt week by Arizona legend Terry Belcher sr.in El Paso@the shootout, driving a Barnett X mod.
He finished in the top 5.
