Rick Hall from Ricks Performance in Las Cruces is sending up a restrictor plate that we'll have at the meeting.
This is the only addition to the X mod rules from last season. Everything else remains status quo.
Rick said he's trying to convince Royal to make it mandatory for everyone regardless of what carb they run(Holley/Rochester).
It would make for significantly easier tech.
There would be no guessing on an altered carb.
....something for us to consider, as a group.
Last season there were 41 cars/drivers that earned points @NAPA in the X mod class.
So far this off season we've already picked up 4 new racers into the class.
Hopefully we get a good turnout Thursday.
Everyone's input will help determine how we grow the class.
Which is the ultimate goal.
