Ive been waiting to say something, Anna and I visited Gordon earlier this week and unfortunatly he wasnt the Gordon we loved and knew, but hes in a better place than we are right now, Anna and I will miss him and we thank him for alot of good and not so good memories, all the laughs and story telling, stories he had, holy cow the stories ! I met Gordon after my mom passed away back in the early 90's, i was selling my street stock stuff and he was the one who bought my stuff, then turned around and had me drive for him. That was a good deal ! From their for the next several years we drove his street stocks and mod stock/limited late models, he would also end up sponsoring my modifieds. He lent me motors, gave me his automotive shop to work out of if needed, we traveled around hitting the big modified shows back then. Preston and Brad were always there to help and support dads racing. Too many things i can say, but Gordon was a great guy and we loved him very much, we used to call him #2, as for dad #2. We spend alot of time together back in the day and I will cherish it all ! Thanks Gordan for all you did ! ...RJ
