IMCA tracks DO run non-points shows/races during their points season. Particularly the week of the Nationals(which was Sept. 1~7 this year). Tracks that are IMCA sanctioned DO hold events without awarding any points what-so-ever. And if you'd care to educate yourself, Aztec held a race on Sept. 6, 2014 that included Modifieds, Sport Compacts etc.
