In the X mod main, j.r . Bonesteel started on the outside front row by virtue of winning his heat over Tom Conners who won the previous night's feature.
He got spun...on the first lap.
Went to the back & fought his way back to 10th.
I started up front(2nd in my heat), got turned&hit (broken upper control arm).
Dee Yates was running up front, had a flat, hot pitted & came from the back, with only a few laps left.
I wouldn't call any of the above backsliding.
Get your facts straight.
