Chad Tenski, Aztec NM. (November 5, 2014)        For immediate release.    March 27th & 28 th 2015 marks the Calendar for the biggest IMCA Modified show to hit the 4 corners area. Aztec Speedway in Aztec NM will host the first annual “Havoc on the Plains Tour Showdown, Hints the name we will be having all the major touring series involved including Chad Tenski’s Border States Racing Series out of New Mexico, Joe Bellm’s Blood Sweat in Tears Tour out of Colorado and a invite to Ken Hansen’s always impressive Wild West Modified Tour.
Drivers expected to make the tow are 2 time and defending IMCA Modified National Champion Zane DeVilbiss from Farmington NM, 3 time Wild West Modified Tour Champion Ricky Alvarado from Delta Co, 2 time BST Modified Champion John Hansen From Brush CO and 3 Time BST series Champion Jeremy Frenier from Ft Morgan CO.
Representing Arizona will be The Young gun Ricky Thornton JR from Chandler AZ. Ricky was the 2014 Canyon/Cocopah winter series Champion, He was also a Prelim winner at the IMCA Super Nationals in 2013. Entry list will become available in the coming months.

Race format and payout will be as follow. Standard Draw re Draw for Friday night the 27th, Heat races will be 8 laps B mains will be 15 laps and A main will be 30 laps. Saturday the 28th will be Double heat races, the top 12 high point cars will be locked into the A-Main the rest of the cars go to B mains where we will take the Remaining 12 highest point cars to the A main, Heat races are 10 laps B mains will be 15 laps and the Big $2000.00 to win A main will be 40 laps.
