Not 100% YET but early next week, more then likely on Monday I should have confirmation of Thunder Raceway in Show Low, AZ turning the lights back on! The land has been purchased by a local company and lease has been made for 4 seasons to former track Stewart to run dirt track operation. I was informed of this by the gentleman with the lease by phone yesterday. He wants to open gates 4th of July weekend. All tracks in AZ are dark for the weekend for x mods. I believe only Grants has an x mod show in the works. With the state of AZ going sport mod and a bunch of drivers/owners disgruntled with rule changes. Thunder will run x mods and this has the likelihood of one hell of a weekend! They want to run a 2 day show the 4th of July weekend. Again this is not 100% set in stone, but is pretty darn close! So with that being said, I know there was a few of you out in the NM territory that loved racing here. Would anyone be interested in coming? Keep it in mind. No purse or payout has been talked about. That will be posted once we have the go ahead. Just wanna put this out there as early as I can!
