RaNai Toler took the win in the hobby stock makeup and made it look easy in the process. Paul Dorsett was 2nd with Jason Duggins in 3rd. Fourth went to Patricia Phillips and fifth was Jesse Minor. Sixth, seventh and eigth were Robert Mason, Brooklyn Kibel and J.T. Lopez.
The sport compact makeup feature was short and sweet with Austin Maxwell winning over Josh Smith. The IMCA stock car feature fielded 16 eligible cars for a 20 lap race. Steffan Carey worked his #3 Witten Warriors car up to the front quickly and was really never challenged. As Carey cruised to the win, Jeramey Bradley raced his way into 2nd with Skyler Heath on his bumper for 3rd. In fourth was Travis Southerlin and fifth went to Jordan Hockenhull. Sixth on back were: Race Fisher, Traci Jennings, Allen Bradley, Michael Farley, Kelly Klemm, Tony Hill, Luke Klemm, Josh Turnbull, Samuel Sansoni, Larry Bradley and Leon Shim.
Now we move on to the regular night of racing. The IMCA stock cars came back out for their second feature of the night. Fifteen cars made the call for a 20 lapper. Luke Klemm was in front from the pole for one lap till Mike Farley moved his new car to the fron for 5 laps. That familiar #3 of Steffan Carey moved under the #53 of Farley in turn one and went on to lead the rest of the way. Carey notched feature win number two for the night as he once again made it look easy. Close racing behind him saw Race Fisher take 2nd away from Tony Hill on the last lap. Hill was 3rd with Larry Bradley 4th and Travis Southerlin rounded out the top five. Sixth on back were: Skyler Heath, Traci Jennings, R.C. Combs, Jordan Hockenhull, Luke Klemm, Jerald Wright, Kelly Klemm, Michael Farley, Jeramey Bradley and Josh Turnbull.
The hobby stocks put on a good show with nine cars going 15 laps. Jason Duggins took the win with Patricia Phillips close behind for 2nd and RaNai Toler in 3rd. Fourth was Adam Soukup and fifth JT Lopez. Robert Mason, Brooklynne Kiblel, and Paul Dorsett took the final three spots.
Two non points races in the sport modified and modified ranks proved to be quite exciting with several cautions displayed.
In the 20 lap sport modified feature, the 21 drivers had a rough time getting started as three attempts wereneeded Many cautions followed due to multiple cars spinning. As many as 6 at a time. Luckily the damage was mostly minor. Jordan Eddleman took the early lead and held on till lap 14 when Rex Higgins moved the 3:16 car in front and held on for a popular win. Eddleman finished a close 2nd with Ricky Baldwin in 3rd. Fourth went to RL Henley and fifth was Darrell Cordary. Sixth on back were: Dakota Kibel, Randy Dorsett, Dylan Terry, Bill Dowdy, Danny Graham, Freddie Brooks, Jay Kibel, Tom Dutton, JC Yates, Jeremy Farley (running a modified), Kristi Tenski, Clint Proffet, Michelle Reed, Matt Klugston, Kevin Snow and Jason Hockenhul.
The modified race was short on cars so Ricky Baldwin ran his sport modified against this nine car field. The Farley #51 showed the way till a spin by himself shuffled the racing order with Jason Keeler picking up the win. Jody Cornell moved from the back to 2nd with the sport modified of Ricky Baldwin taking 3r. In fourth was Darrell Bradford and fifth saw Wayne Soares. Allen Bradley was 6th followed in order by Jeremy Farley, Pat Castel and Don Scott (DNS).
Mark Merrion driving his #55 modified hit the turn one wall head on during a heat race and was treated at the track by paramedics. Mark is ok today. His car is about 3 feet shorter.
Here are the heat race winners for the night: Stock cars----Steffan Carey (two features and his heat for a clean sweep), Race Fisher, and Travis Southerlin. Sport modifieds----Dakota Kibel, Kristi Tenski and Jason Hockenhull. Modifieds----Jeremy Farley and Darrell Bradford. Sport compacts---Josh Smith. Hobby stocks---RaNai Toler and Jason Duggins.
