No other Abq. X mods showed up in Grants.Ever since Tre left they're pretty much stealth as to what's going on up there.
Some of those guys need to come race here, I think it would help their programs a lot.
We were actually on our way to Sandia to run with the A mods, when Fegan canceled.
It was kinda like being all dressed up with no place to go.Racers, race & we wanted to get some laps on the new bullet & see how some different chassis stuff was gonna work.The 1X car is pretty much an R&D car, just trying different things & keep evolving like the Southern X mods are constantly doing.
Car ran well...Learned some stuff.
You're spot on about the X mod deal, it's gotten really competitive here.It's all about set up...miss by a smidgen & you're toast.
Too much depth, too many good cars/drivers.
Heard Ralph (Dutcher)&Clay Gossett went south to dance with the big boys.
Ralph started 22nd & got up to 7th then broke a pullbar.Looks like Clay had a good run.
Our guys are traveling & stepping up their programs, gets tougher every week.

I thought X Mods didn't race again til July 11th?
