Big win last night at Aztec Speedway for Kristi Tenski as she put her #51 sport modified in the lead on lap 1 and won the caution free feature. Kristi held off Brian Carey for several laps to log her first ever feature win.
Another action filled modified feature had no less than six lead changes between thee drivers. Eddie Farley was upfront early until Aaron Spangler took over running the extreme high line and looked unbeatable. His birthday party had a spoiler moving up to take the cake away. IMCA national champion,Zane Devilbiss, moved his #18 Pink Panther in front with only a few laps left. Zane took the win on his mom and dad's 33rd anniversary. The stock car feature was a heart pounding race with four and five wide racing for 20 laps. Trevor Combs took off like a bullet and seemed to be on his way to his first win at Aztec. But it was not to be as the familiar Witten iWarriors #3 with Steffan Carey at the wheel caught Combs and stalked him for a few laps. It looked as though Combs was going to hang onto the lead but with a few laps left,Carey mounted a great run out of turn 4 and passed the 5t for his 6th or 7th win. Could be even more as Steffan seems to win them all lately.
